Relaxation...

What do you do, or where do you go, when you want to feel completely relaxed?...

Music?
Incense?
Drives?
Walks?
Readking?

What puts you at ease and lets you escape the stress...? sun

All of the above...plus yoga, meditation, playing with or just observing my dog, talking to my parrot, sitting on one of my decks with a nice glass of wine and looking out at the woods with the sound of the stream in the background....

Can I go home yet, boss?

Sedona, AZ...I just got back from there...one of the most beautiful places on this planet. I will retire and grow old there!

Either sleep, play a game on the PC, or if I'm anywhere near a shore, I'd enjoy the calming sounds of the waves.

Meditation comes in various forms....it is not necessarily sitting in lotus position on the floor and chanting Om....

If you are at all contemplative or a thinker, you meditate naturally....

thats your point you try to meditate..meditation comes in without force..like the breeze..people meditate because the feel they have to..meditation works when you want to meditation..the way you come into meditation affects the meditation..well that's what my roshi said.

I lock myself in the bathroom and take a long, hot bath. Maybe bring in a book or put the radio on some relaxing station.

Up until June I was in an apartment with a jacuzzi. drool My new apartment hasn't one... plus the bathroom is really ugly. I'ma have to strike some arrangement with the landlord to fix it up or something. nod

Greece--well, Santorini--had that effect on me...every cell in my body just mellowed and I felt insanely at peace.
