for you!! they take a little getting used to, but I can have the mouse AND the pen on at the same time which is cool you might find it handy with Illustrator, which is what I intend to use it with

Those things aren't for me really. However, I have found out my tax return should land me a windfall of £500 or so. There's Joy In Expatriation.

I may still get one as the prices have really dropped now (about £40 here) but I wonder how much use I will really get out of it? I will prolly end up using the pen to tie my hair up with, while the wacom tablet would make a great coaster for my mug and biscuits.. if sexy was a colour it would be red

I waited for ages for Aldi to bring their one back again, it's only $69, but I have a big illustration job on atm, so I thought it justified

Funny story...I was quoted between 800 and 900 hundred smackeroos but when the day came, the girl who had booked me in (Trinity was her name) managed to do the left arm in 2 hours and charged me $250 for it. I was scheduled to have the right arm done the next day and when I rocked up, she was sick and absent but her partner rocked up and did the right arm for $200!! So the long answer is $450 which in the world of tattoos is an absolute bargain for such a detailed and big piece.
Thinking of getting one as well??

Thinking of getting one as well?? and do they match well despite being done by 2 different people? I am too fickle to get such a permanent thing done

My aim was never to get them exactly IDENTICAL although it sounds good and normal in theory, in practice, it actually looks really weird believe it or not. Even if the same person had done the right arm the next day, there's absolutely no guarantee that she could have made the right arm look like the left arm. Everyone who has seem them raves about them and loves them to death...as far as I'm concerned, the best money I've ever spent and I will be a return a customer to that tatt place!

Never...I've got 2 other tatts on the inside of my arms and I thought carefully before doing them...the wings were in planning for 3 years before I got them done!

I won't get a tax return, but I have filed a complaint against Abbey Plc. with the financial ombudsman. I'm asking for 1000 GBP in compensation. I applied to open a postal account (so I can easily transfer and get hold of larger amounts of money from my savings, by way of my father in the UK) and gave instructions to make a transfer from an existing account to the new one, and that was in March. They've ignored most of the letters, lied on occasion and generally been completely incompetent. 6 months and still no new account. I won't mind if I get the money though.
