So today someone who never really cared for me and who gave me a lot of heartache and problems...

told me that they missed me, and that I was a good person, and that I was right about something that no one else thought I was right about.

It was pretty amazing, and it made me feel like maybe there is justice in the world somewhere. It was validation.

You put good out to the world, no matter how flawed you might be,and good comes back to you. I liked having that reminder today.

Has anything like this ever happened to you?

How did it make you feel?

woot!

You're not just a good person - you're a GREAT person
rose hug

Apparently, not everyone thinks so... But Thank you very very much Mach. hug

Yeah, the past few days have brought much needed waves of affirmation. I thank God for it.

I've been feeling undervalued lately, fairly universally, and I'd been contemplating changes of scenery.

And, last Friday, I went out to lunch with a music artist whose work I have admired for about a decade (and he and I swapped ideas for my development).

And at lunch today, surrounded by colleagues in my field, I recounted a recent debacle that they all knew about. And we laughed about it. They chimed in and began talking about similar things had happened to them. And they encouraged me.

Later tonight, a friend at church who also had been privy to the incident, encouraged me and told me how proud they were of my handling of the situation.

Again, I'm thankful for the revelation God has brought. I'd been feeling fairly low. It wasn't as dark as I'd believed it to be.

woot! That's freaking awesome! Great for you!

Yes, it has happened only for them to cause me heartache and pain again.

I can see how that might happen. I'm not taking the person who said it too serious. I see the message as coming for someplace higher and the person who said it was just the veichle it arrived it. smile

I really need to hear that right now. I am super stressed about it..it is the unknown of him being ok in quarantine and the large amount of money to do all of this to get him there. I guess that is what you do for the things we love.

Sure it sucks, but it's the best if not the only decision you can make. The money is well spent and you and your dog will get through that time like when a family member is in the hospital for a longer period of time until you can finally bring him back at home. Don't worry, he will be okay kiss2.
