I saw a preview for this movie when I saw Halloween on Saturday..looks interesting.

I think "The Fog" movies were take-offs of Kings short story "The Mist"...which is a fantastic short story, btw. Hope the movie does it justice... | |

I read that a long time ago while taking a bath. Couldn't stop reading. Finished the book, water was cold and slept bad that night. How's that for a trailer? You don't scare me; i got kids | |

The Mist, short story, was released twice. Once in an anthology in 1980 and then again in Skeleton Crew in 1985.
The original movie The Fog, which I love, was released in 1980. They are very different. My issue with Stephen King's "monster" movies is just that. I don't like monster movies. It's sorta been done already so I don't know. The story is kick-ass though and some, most even, of King's stories are best kept on paper imo. That way we can all keep our inner ghosts the way we envision them. | |

The novella was fantastic and I always wanted to make a movie out of it. The only thing that stopped me was lack of knowledge, talent and money.
Also, "The Mist" was the first computer game I ever played. Anyone else ever play it? It was a DOS-based game, if I recall. | |
