Not a tree house, but one of those wooden playhouses with the swing, rock wall and sliding board that all the kids have now.
I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure
I layed down with love and I woke up with lies
Whats it all worth only the heart can measure
It's not whats in the mirror but what's left inside

No, we only have pine and palm trees in the backyard of the home I grew up in, but I did built a pretty impressive fort in the sideyard. My friends and I used to hang out in there when it would pour down rain. It was a sanctuary. Some birds even took refuge in there and built a nest, and we'd bring them worms for their babies.

Miss that fort.
Oh shit, my hat done fell off

I used to live in a very exciting place as a child; meadows, forest, them grounds you might know if I say 'wuthering heights', whatever you call it in English; moors?

In those place, I would wander in and out of fantasy, this shallow line between reality and whatever place my mind was in as a child.

My sister, her best friend and I built this treehut (house are just too silly) where we would hang together, just before they got a bit too interested in boys and would leave me to hide onmy own.

Wow

my friends and I as kids made an underground fort in the woods behind my house

we dug a huge hole then covered it with plywood and the soil and grass ontop

tis a good thing it never caved in lol I went down there one time and there were some older kids in there having sex so the next weekend my friends and i caved it in lol

We did too! We dammed a waterway. We built bridges. We went swimming in the lakes on the meadows.

my cousin had a playhouse... a little house painted to match her parents with one of those half doors that you imagine snow white would have had too... was always jealous of everything she had! lol

but i had so many trees to play in. way bigger than some claustrophobic little shed lol. my sister and i made paths through the bushes and in a clearing would make a house complete with thatched roof.

we would use bits of firewood and nail a board on top for a table and use logs for chairs. in the summer it was always lovely and cool on our earthen floor and the cats would stop by for tea and a cuddle.

if you wanted to climb there was one tree branch that i would pretend was a saddle on a horse... conveniently beside a chokecherry tree so i would just sit up there till my mouth had pukered lol.

love2
