Same here. I like being an Englishman. I do miss the UK sometimes, but Thailand's way funnier. smile

England is nice.

Our healthcare is indeed free (although technically you pay for it through taxes), and, although it's not perfect, it does. We British are prone to complaining and massively exaggerating problems - we love a good moan.

I hate R&B, but it is MASSIVE here amongst chavs lol - I don't know whether that's a good thing or not for you, but just so you know: yes, R&B is popular. Rock has a way cooler scene though. cool

The main thing is most of England is really picturesque - villages that you won't see in any other country and lots and lots of green. lol

The only downer, and it's the reason I'm leaving England, is that it's so fucking expensive. Even with adjustments for inflation, your average Brit is 2% poorer anually than he was the preceding year - the costs of living are shooting up right now beyond control. I'm surprised the media aren't making a huge deal out of it. Gone are the days of a 50p cup of tea. 50p?! More like £3! That's $6!

Anyway, hope that helps. smile

Thank you. Im making a trip out there in March! smile Im going for real!
