It's Springtime In Australia, so Of course Im Having A spring Cleanout, when it occurred to Me just how many Useless Items We have in this house!!!
One of them Being A Juicer that gets used probably once every six months, but Hubby refuses to relinquish to the Yard Sale Gods There are also A few ornaments that I seem to have formed a sentimental attatchment to fr no particular reason
So what have u spent money on, or been given, that are of no real use to u but U just cant seem to get rid of???

I had this little turtle ceramic thing. You put those little cone shaped fragrance whatchamacallits in there, light 'em, and it makes the room smell nice. Anyway, I dropped the bottom part and broke it and now just have the top, the shell of the turtle if you like. I can't seem to part with it.

dammnit, I AM going to throw away/donate/sell all the baby stuff that fills up our spare room one day…

Lots of clothes, we are only allowed to have garage sales every 3 months in my city, I always seem to miss them, so the clothes is just sitting there piling up and taking up room.

I got rid of a ton earlier in the year though, miscellaneous electronics/clothes/etc. So I'm pretty good besides the 3 boxes

My d20 dice...I have not played a pen & paper RPG in YEARS, but I bring bring myself to get rid of them. Hell...I still get new ones periodically, they're just so cool looking

Ya'll are not going to believe me, but I gotta say nothing. When I have something that I no longer need, I either donate it to the Red Cross, or sell it. That's the one nice thing about living in this tiny-ass apartment, I have no room to collect unwanted stuff. Now if I could get rid of the nasty bitch who lives downstairs, I'd REALLY be happy.

I'm doing just that today, preparing for my move. I've filled almost 3 garbage bags and have packed 3 boxes of books.

I'm normally good at this kind of thing, but for some reason today isn't going as smoothly as it should. I found pics of me from high school and just shortly after. Damn, I was skinny! I found a pic of me hugging someone and mt shirt is riding way above my belly button and I look effing hot. I'm gonna have to find a scanner.

I found a bunch of CD long boxes I saved. They're all in a bag, perfectly useless, but I don't want to get rid of them yet.

I think I'm going to run to target and buy a couple of plastic totes to put that kinhda stuff in.

I've been going through boxes from before I left for Vancouver in 2003 and I'm so surprised that even though it was only four years ago, these things feel like they're from a whole other era in my life. I picked out an iron, a tripod, a few candles and some other things, but the vast majority of the stuff - including 95% of all the clothes - are things I don't have use for today.
