Random Acts of Douchebaggery

Someone just stole some items out of my car. bawl One of these things was my car registration. Should I be worried? Is there anything on there that someone could use for identity theft? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You need to go to the police ASAP. If one of the things they specifically took was your registration, they *might* want to gank your identity. There is also the possibility they just wanted yer address so they could come to your house sad

I don't mean to scare you, but you need to let the cops know as soon as you can.

Excellent thread title.

I would just replace it at the DVM A.S.A.P. that will render the other one even more useless in any offical capacity at least. It will most likely be used with a stolen car.

I did contact the police last night. The officer/clerk/whoever takes the calls on the non emergency line didn't know if there was anything on there other than the address. And yes, I'm mildly paranoid schizophrenic about someone having my address. What they did tell me was it sounded like some dumb kids did the thievery. Most of what they stole were burnt Cd's and a pair of roller skates. They also told me to do a credit check just to make sure nothing happens. Man, why do people have to do shit like this? Bloody savages!!!!

Thanks for all your help! biggrin
