Both of them shoulda been dogmeat on the street....then of course, the LOUDLY BEEPING countdown $10 digital super secret agent watch of his.....whofarted

still.....great diversion on a Saturday!!! lol

A friend & I were discussing Short Circuit the other day. We were wondering why this film isn't a must have in most people's movie collection. I was in elementary school when this movie came out and back then you were a nobody if you hadn't seen this flick. Everyone in school would quote lines from it all day long.

I woke up pretty early this morning to go on a run and after I got back Action Jackson was on T.V. This movie is not particularly Oscar material and even though I have watched it at least 30 times I always end up watching it when it comes on, even if its in the middle of the movie. This always happens to me with the following 80's movies: 1) Action Jackson 2) Breakfast Club 3) Karate Kid 4)Top Gun 5) Wildcats

Why this happens I have no idea. I tend to generally watch films that are of "high art" status, but these cheesy movies just have some kind of hypnotic effect on me. So G.D. what 80's movies are your crack? lol

I agree. I'm protesting the so-called reinvented/remake "Halloween" movie. Why mess with a great original movie?? Where are the fresh new, original ideas for movies and tv? Hollywood execs are killing them fast as they appear on their doorstep. The movie theaters raise prices according to inflation to make it seem they are making money. But in reality, they are losing money because of DVDs, bootlegs and PHP downloads. Plus, the reality tv trend has taken over the tv programming... whereas the studios rather hire no talented, non-union actors (or regular Joes and JoAnns) with little or no pay...and in return they exploit these poor suckers bodies and souls for greed and dumb-down sleeze.

Jeez...it's time for a revolution and evolution!!!

i agree with u on the theory that hollywood can't give u fresh ideas. they r smart in some instances of where u think it's a brand new moive only 2 find out later that it's a remake. I did go c halloween and it was basically a back story on how michael myers became the way he did. I enjoyed it, but i also understand where ur coming from.

btw ...i heard they r trying 2 remake enter the dragon rolleyes

I heard about the "remake" of the Enter the Dragon. That movie is great as it is and u cant reproduce another Bruce Lee unless Jason Scott Lee plays him. I hope Hollywood gets out of the brain drain doldrums soon. Besides Im entering into the business in VFX and Animation. I have alotta ideas and many stories to tell.
