Fast Times at Ridgmont High Less The Zero All the John Hughes movies i forgot about "less than zero" i wouldn't call it cheesy tho. i just recently found out that the guy who wrote the book "American Psycho" also wrote "less than Zero" to. That would be Bret Easton Ellis. I'm a huge fan. They also adapted another book of his, "The Rules of Attraction," with Jame Van Derbeek. That novel is the ultimate 80s teen flick. Too bad the movie was based in 2003 or something. Anyway, back to the topic... Poltergeist gets my vote. I always watch it when it comes on. "...literal people are scary, man literal people scare me out there trying to rid the world of its poetry while getting it wrong fundamentally down at the church of "look, it says right here, see!" - ani difranco

I have an extremely low tolerance towards movies of the 80's, specifically the "brat pack" movies, other than 16 candles. But even then, I don't feel unable to resist watching when it's aired. It's just one that doesn't make me puke.
But Clue, which I don't think I'd say is cheesy, is a movie that I watch over and over again whenever I catch it, and always chuckle.

John Hurt and Karen Allen (from raiders of the lost ark) will also star in it.
