Is it some kind of lottery system ? Uhhh. My kids ARE covered under Blu Chip which is just like a step up from Medicaid, (the state pays for it) and its basically like welfare. But you have to have a low income, and re apply every year. Which usually means me fighting over the phone for 3 months cuz my husband is in sales so its mainly commision...blah blah. I don't qualify for anything and have been uninsured for almost 3 yrs. At that time they put me on a waiting list for PARTIALLY funded bennefits, and I finally got my turn. So now I only have to pay 67 bucks a month to be covered. I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure
I layed down with love and I woke up with lies Whats it all worth only the heart can measure It's not whats in the mirror but what's left inside

Is it some kind of lottery system ? Well, it's a lottery system in the sense that you pretty much only get good coverage these days if you were born rich. Even a lot of people who have it have really shitty coverage these days. My partner is insured and has still had to shell out well over a thousand bucks this year on health care. And she's actually quite HEALTHY. I have no coverage. I'm jealous of those who do. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!
