Ok, so it's nothing new. Many of us just get through the week for the weekend, but why specifically? Is it just not working or is there something else. Going out?

For me I want to get to the weekend for the Premiership football and when it's on, the F1. I can't wait to watch Liverpool trounce Derby tonight. Also, I only drink on the weekends now so that makes me look forward to it even more. Otherwise every day is very much the same for me. I don't tend to work a whole lot so it's probably boredom that sees me love the weekend so much.

So why specifically do you look forward to the weekend?

Im just relaxing this weekend. Nothing special. Im also looking forward to the weekends football although we have a difficult fixture away at Reading today.

I am currently getting through the weekend so I can have my nice monday in peace and quiet

Listening to some music, cooking, cutting my hair...
...and maybe a lil' partying tonight cuz I have to work tomorrow...

going to visit my parents in a few hours
run some errands
finish laundry
and hopefully go out dancing to this club that's closing down
as for now i'm lounging in my underwear on the org.

I don't need to look fwd to it.

I have no need to even know what day or month it is.

The only reason I even need to know the time is so I know when to put the kids in bed and feed them.

I have an aimless meaning less existence.

I do not live for the weekend...I go in to work on the weekend as well. The rest of the time I spend alone so I really sort of hate the weekends at the moment.

I think that's time well spent. Only if you're in your underwear though. That's quality lounging. If fully clothed it suggests you could get up at any given moment and do something useful. In underwear there's no doubt you're in it for the long haul.
