Do u guys get fed up with taking things back 2 stores for either exchanges and/or refunds??

On Thursday I was out shopping as I had 2 take a pair of glasses into b repaired(Yet again!!!! But thats another story) and also 2 pick up something that I had ordered and anyway I got distracted by shoes!! The thing is I am flying over 2 the USA on Tuesday and I decided 2 look for some comfortable slip-ons 2 wear at the airports, which are stylish, and yet they are easy 2 slip on and off for the security checks. Well, anyway, I finally found some, with some wide elasticated straps and they fit perfectly in the store, so I brought them!! yesterday after my last day of work I came home and changed and decided that I walk around in my new footwear, well, after about 2 hours I was sitting down with my mother and she gasped "OH MY GOD!! U CANT WEAR THOSE!!!THOSE ARE CUTTING OFF YOUR CIRCULATION!!!" The thing is the elasticated straps were cutting into my feet, which were swollen through work and they were almost cutting into my flesh!!

Now, today(Saturday) I have 2 take a trip back into town 2 either exchange the shoes or get a refund!! I get totally pissed off at having 2 do this every time!!It doesnt matter what u buy nowadays, u have 2 take things back for exchanges and/or refunds!!it can b anything from something big like a car 2 something small like shoes in my case!! Its absolutely stupid!! Also, how come things like shoes fit perfectly and look perfect in the store and as soon as u get them home and wear them they hurt like Hell!!

Do any of u guys have problems like me???
Do things like this get on your nerves????
