I was out of town with my kids for three weeks this summer. When we came back my dad came to stay with us for a week. Then school started and we had more family visitors.

I'm kind of looking forward to not having people in the house for a change.

I would love for life to slow down, but it seems like every time I turn around there's something going on. The kids have their soccer, they get invited to birthday parties, we have people visiting, or there's something else we have to do because we didn't get it done during the week!!!

As a mom I hate to have to tell my kids, no you can't go to this birthday party or that one, but I can see now that we are going to have to set some parameters or else things are going to get out of control!!

Monday I think there's a parade in town

I am spending all night tonight and most of the morning tomorrow cleaning my apartment as there will be people looking at it tomorrow.

In the afternoon I'm going to see my oldest friend's new baby girl! Born today!!

Tomorrow night I'm helping unload all of Anxy's crap at Darin's, well, Darin and Anxy's house.

And I think then I shall be lazy the rest of the weekend, even though I had planned to finally paint my table and chair set... Maybe. We'll see...

I plan on relaxing this weekend 'cause my classes start next week




I think I might go to a bbq on Sunday though.

Let's see..the usual...

Cleaning my work suites Saturday morning and going to store and getting all of the supplies for work. Then Sunday relaxing a little, chatting with sweetie, and going through piles of paperwork, Monday going in to work - only time I can get any work done is on Holidays when the phones are not ringing and my coworkers are off.

It's actually a 'holiday' weekend here on the Gold Coast too (Gold Coast show day) ...but as I'm not working it didn't really apply to me it's Fathers Day tomorrow, though, and in a couple of hours I'm meeting Dad to go to thier house for a couple of nights
