Well, technically you see her intestines, but the end would sorta be her butthole, right? confuse

First of all the Halloween music is "Scary". I'll check this movie out. I only like Halloween and Halloween 2. Part 3 wasn't really a Halloween movie. Parts 4 and 5 were bad sequals. H20 was boring as hell. There was one with Busta Ryhmes in it (Part 6????) Crappy and very lame.

heart the theme music.....not as scary as The Omen's though. Everyone who mentions shitty Resurrection ALWAYS mention Busta Rhymes. He was terrible.....the kung fu moves is when the movie officially died. lol Tyra Banks's garbage acting was no better to be honest.

I don't check out fan forums for Halloween or anything, but has anyone heard anything about Jamie's baby? The baby was the only bloodline left, and they just kinda abandoned that. I never understood why. hmmm

Nothing can top the original, but considering the mess he could have made of it, I thought he did an admirable job. He took enough nuances from the original to make it easily identifiable, but at the same time he went a little left field.

Yeah Omen music is scary (maybe 70's horror films had better music). Yeah when I think horror movies especialy classic ones such as Halloween how can you not think of throwing in Busta Ryhmes (sarcasim there just in case)

well apperantely, its an awesome movie

HALLOWEEN Scares Up $31 Million Debut
from Yahoo! Movies

HALLOWEEN came early and closed Hollywood's strong summer season with a record-breaking Labor Day weekend debut.

Rob Zombie's new take on John Carpenter's 1978 horror sensation "Halloween" slashed its way to a $31 million haul over the four-day weekend, surpassing the $20.1 million gross for 2005's "Transporter 2," which had held the record for best Labor Day opening.

Released by the Weinstein Co. and MGM, "Halloween" also topped the $29 million Labor Day gross for 1999's "The Sixth Sense," which had been the biggest-grossing movie over the holiday. That blockbuster ghost story was in its fifth weekend when Labor Day came around.

Led by "Halloween," Hollywood set a new overall record for Labor Day, with the top 12 movies taking in $119.6 million, surpassing the previous high of $106.1 million in 2003.

1. "Halloween," $31 million.

2. "Superbad," $15.6 million.

3. "Balls of Fury," $13.8 million.

4. "The Bourne Ultimatum," $13.2 million.

5. "Rush Hour 3," $10.4 million.

6. "Mr. Bean's Holiday," $8.1 million.

7. "The Nanny Diaries," $6.4 million.

8. "Death Sentence," $5.2 million.

9. "War," $5.1 million.

10. "Stardust," $3.9 million.

Is it a gore-fest?

The orignal halloween was more Hitchcock than Texas-Chainsaw to me. But scary as hell. boxed

oh, its totally more gory. he doesn't make it so at the expense of the suspense. there are still all the scenes with michael watching, stalking, standing behind someone in a room and then disappearing. it's all there, just updated.

its not really Gory..pretty much the same murder type of killings..the knife in the chest on the wall with the weird look....

They are just a little more "realistic" like when he beat that boy to death with a stick...that was very very raw and unnerving.

I really liked this remake. The ending was just b-movie classic...screaming and screaming as her face and hair is all messed up..classic.

Im so glad he put a little more story in2 it. The mid section of Halloween I found myself yawning..not knowing WHO really Michael Meyers is or caring..until the night scene finally comes on.

sorry u feel that way, well now u can get back 2 watching ur Barney and Pokemon movies.

This is an adult movie, most of teens in the original halloween were naked also (michael's mom gets stabed in the beginning)< Annie shows her panties, and P.J. soles shows her boobs)

and...who in the hell has that much sex in highschoo??? A LOT!
u shouldve expected 2 c the gore and nudity, especially when there was nudity in the original and nudity in zombie's films (Devils Rejects and House of 1000 Corpses)

and if the movie is crap y is it the number 1 movie in america??

eek shocked omfg bheart Guess I can't really make a fuss since I still haven't seen Rob's version, but I think the original is just sheer horror perfection.....slasher meets storyline rather than just straight up slasher. Not saying anything's wrong with that because I love all types of horror. Halloween just had it all. A lot of fans were ranking Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003 and the "Beginning") ahead of the original one too. I just have a hard time parting with originals.

I htink its better because Rob did a great job with context. He provided us with important insight into the mind of Michael Myers as a child. After all these years (the original Halloween movie was released before I was born) I finally had some answers and they made perfectly good sense. Bigups to Rob Zombie.

Yeah, this is the argument that some fans used with TCM. A lot of 70s horror didn't feel the need to explain a lot of things in detail, which is why some people like the prequel and remake. The original was grindhouse style, and I guess that doesn't appeal to some horror fans. I just think without the original, I highly doubt Rob could come up with that own his own.....which is why (regardless of how well received it may be or how much I enjoy it) I just can't put it ahead of the '78 version.

Kinda off topic , but they're remaking Terror Train, Prom Night, April Fool's Day, and Last House on the Left. Why? neutral Are they gonna do all of Jamie Lee's horrors? lol

I know. Just naming the ones I know that are being remade not all JLC horrors. I think with Terror Train/Prom Night.....that'll be her whole collection. The Fog was already done.
