the PHIGHTING PHILLIES - ya gotta love em ... ok- i grew up on the Phillies... and was TOTALLY ADDICTED to watching them in my high school days ... 77 almost made it ... 78 .. almost ...
then they went to the World Series with Pete Rose and won it all !!! i was so burned OUT ... i never really watched them again ... oh .. yeah ... in 82 they went back to the World Series ... but they also went on strike ... and i just got outta baseball ... this yr they were supposed to be good .... again ... and well ... injury after injury ... hopes dashed ... here and there... they have streaks ... and then ... fall apart ... well .. this past week ... when it looked dark ... their main pitcher Cole Hamels (who is what like maybe 21?) got injured ... he was the only pitcher they had (worst era in the league ) .... so they go into a series with the METS (who are no 1- and the Phillies cant seem to beat at all alllll yearrrrr ) ---- and they sweep all 4 games !!!! what an exciting series to be a Phillie fan .... even the yankees are gettin people excited too ... surprising .... comments?        | |

i usually have found baseball boringgggg ... but i admit .. it has gottem me back into it .. alil bit ... (probably never get AS INTO it as i was)--- i was very superstitious and all .. u know the type that would watch it in his fav chair .. etc ... not get up .. until commercials ...lol | |

Okay, I figured it out. I think. 
Seattle Mariners need to win a bunch a games. And Seattle Mariners need, 
the Los Angeles Angels, New York Yankees and the Detroit Tigers to lose a bunch of games. Mmmmm, Like she need the extra cleavage. | |

i am not sure about the Mets story ... but .. its just great to see the Phillies - who have dealt with such diversity this year ... i mean .. Ryan Howard (singlehandedly almost carried them last yr - MVP , etc) was out for a bit at the beginning of the yr .... Chase Utley was out ... the pitching has been dicimated ... of course ... then the last straw ... Cole Hamels .... i mean .. I NEVER expected that 4 games outta them .... and they did win last night too ...
and Mets and Atlanta get to beat up on each other now ... too cool !!! | |
