Wait. How do you know it's not? Perhaps you should note me, mademoiselle. I'm a mod dude... I know all.

In the new Org, there shall be room for huggy mods who cast Shirley Manson-type glares and have odd White Stripes attachments.

The news on my future announcement is pending, Org. The exploratory committee retreat at the compound (a W hotel, as it turned out -- which means I retreated at Compound W, it just occured to me ) was fruitful. A peace plan was produced but an accord was abrogated.
There was much frivolity, yet there was sobriety. Supporters made merry and brows did furrow. All the while, a visionary laid out quite a platform. A few snippets: 1) Random threads rarely live up to the original intent of unrelated posts. After a while, at least 2 posts have some factor in common. However, the jacking that occurs on "random" threads helps reinforce a kind of deviation that complements randomness. 2) 2the9s' influence and creative presence on the Org is overstated. Sure, he's our favorite git. He's lovable in his own way. But, well, he's still a git. 3) Prince (who, for the record, was not at the compound and may have never used Compound W) regularly visits the Org. Lyrics on recent albums bear this out. Should Prince pay a fee to belong to the Org, since he's deriving sales from concepts tied to the site? Given our favorite musical imp's predisposition for all things litigious, he might respect Ben's "owning the court and charging (him) a fee." (By the way Prince, this is all a satire.) Finally, the announcement about my future announcement is forthcoming. We are moving forward with it. It could happen any day now. Stay tuned. [Edited 9/2/07 13:17pm]

The committee has spoken. And, so has time.
My announcement shall be brief. I no longer can bear the weight of this vision, of this exercise. Or can I? [Edited 9/3/07 6:57am]
