How does your time go after work?

I work in the Empire State Bldg - quitting time is 5pm, but leave between 5:15 & 5:30. Then I walk to my gym on Madison & 36th for a two & 1/2 hour workout. After that I take the No.6 subway to Parkchester(Bronx). Then I have to wait for the bus to finally get home, which is between 9:30-10pm.

Whew!!

I thought about taking the bus to work, but it would put me on a schedule like yours. It would turn my 2 hours commute into a 4 hour commute.

It depends on what I have going on at the moment. Right now, I'm doing costume design for a play that opens in two days -- so my evenings are filled with getting wardrobe finalized for opening night.

Like tonight, for example, I have to run to Wal-Mart to get handkerchiefs and shoelaces (one actor's current shoelaces won't stay tied, so I have to get new ones), then stop at the cleaners to pick up a couple costume pieces, then take the stuff to the theatre.

I'll probably hang out to watch the run, just to make sure everything looks right and nothing else is needed. By the time I get home, I'll just fall into bed -- so I can do it again tomorrow.

I have a feeling it's going to be a "latte for dinner" night. lol

I work nights so I really can't do much normal stuff after work. If I don't hit the gym & go to bed, I watch a little tv & go to bed. Boring as FUCK! mad

The commute's not bad, it's waiting for the damn No. 36 bus(at night) that's a pain, especially in winter. The good part is the last bus stop is right in front of my building. When I leave in the mornings, the bus is right there.

I play football on Thursday nights and I sometimes go out jogging when I feel like it. On Friday's I normally go for a drink with colleagues. I'm trying to fill my free time more. If Im honest I dont really like being on the Org or the internet for that matter excessively.

I get off at 4pm. I have about a 30 minute commute. I usually take a nap then eat. After that, recently, I've been having a late night workout at the gym. It's better for me because it's not as full.

That's how I feel! Boring as fuck!

I was just pissed at feeling like my life was just work and home, work and home.

So, for Labor Day Weekend my family and I went to Jackson Hole, WY. Good little road trip.

I feel much better! lol

I have my moments - when I feel too boring I pack my schedule w/ a bunch of shit to do so it's not just work/home/work. Then I get sick of that, start neglecting shit & feel like I NEED it to be about work/home for a minute lol & I get back on track & feel boring again, it's a never ending cycle of disappointment confused

Get home, make some supper, spend some time with the kids until they go to bed, then either play computer games, watch a movie on DVD, or read. And if I'm lucky, get & give a workout before falling asleep. wink

This one's for you.

How is it that there's always just ONE person, often the mom of the house, that is the only one that knows how to pick up around the house/do the chores/do dishes daily?
