i'm in the midst of some of the most monumental changes of my life this week, so i guess my answer would be yes, i'm quitting just about everything and starting a bunch of things too.

for starters, my last day of work is today. i was at this job for 4 years. i start a new job tuesday in a new city, in a new state, living in a new house with a new living arragement i haven't encountered in ages.

so yeah, i might give up smoking, but not just yet.

mostly exciting. most of my dread has to do with getting through the last couple of days in my old environment before i get to start enjoying the new stuff. and the scariest part so far is the idea of going on a 10 hour roadtrip with my cat this weekend. we're doomed.

i just gave up my job of 7 years in assurance with steady good salary
and secure job position.

i don't know i like the work but it's not what i wanted to do for the
rest of my life. so i finally decided to take the risk and give it up
for becoming a male nurse



checked everything out, made calls. went to the employment agency and
the nursing homes and secured myself a work/college position with the
added bonus of a guarenteed job at the end of it

i have to take a nosedive of 500 euro's a month in my paycheck and go
back to studying but what the heck, i'm finally gonna do what i've
wanted to do forever now and i don't regret it.

i start next monday

he has a big cat carrier and when we're on long stretches of road i might try letting him out to see what he does. i'm most scared of poop/puke/pee issues, so i'll be airpacking him in saran wrap before we leave.
