I think there are times and places for things, yes. If you're out for a fancy dinner, no. Perhaps you should have pumped and left the child with a sitter. But in general I think it's just fine.

I don't have a problem with it. I would do it and usually bring a small blanket to cover myself. I didn't want men staring. As ooky as that seems to me, some people get off on seeing a woman's tit even if it's got a human attached to it.

But, also I did it because some people really are uncomfortable when you are talking to them and your boob is hanging out. It's all about being discreet for me, but I wouldn't chastise someone else for doing it differently.

I personally HATED BFing in public.

I brest fed both of my kids for they're first yr, and I avoided BFing in public at all costs. But that was just me. I don't have a problem with someone else doing it. Its a beautiful thing.

I think a woman should be able to feed her child at most times and places BUT I think the woman should at least cover with blanket, as someone stated.


I remember a woman walking down the street, boob out with a two year old just sucking away.

I often did it in a private area but if I was stuck somewhere and my kid was flipping the hell out I would just sit aside somewhere and nurse him with a receiving blanket over him and my shoulder. Most times no one even had a clue I was holding a baby.

when i was breast feeding my youngest i did it everywhere any anywhere i didnt care but i did have the decency to use a blanket to cover my bare boob esp when i was feeding in chester zoo walking round
