My mom, who has a history of buying people presents that don't reflect what their intersts or wants are, as much as they reflect her own, bought my nephews for Christmas one year these cute little piggy banks.

The piggy banks where actually shaped like Honey Pots (like the kind that Winney the Pooh is always holding) and she just absolutely adored them.

But My nephews were 5 and 6 years old at that time, and unfortunately 5 and 6 year old boys are a bit advanced now compared to when I was growing up (hell, even I would have thought it was a lame present then ).

Fortunately, I had bought each of them an x-box video game title to go along with their piggy banks, and included the gifts are "one gift".

My family is not very materialistic, but come on.. Piggy banks? Shaped like Honey pots? For boys? WTF?

My Sweetie just gave me 4 cds on Math, so I can study for my test. Was a real sweet gift, and he is only trying to help me out, but a new purse would have been even nicer.
