I'm starting to get used to the lemonade but I still gag a little when I drink it. It's the maple syrup that gets me, it's gross. I'll never eat a pancake again with maple syrup, this has ruined it for me forever.

I shouldn't have started this week. I"m pmsing and want to eat everything in sight. I'm going to try to stick with it though, even though I know I won't be able to do the full 10 days. I'll be happy with 5!

It's the cayenne pepper that makes me gag confused...it doesn't dissolve so I can feel it on the back of my throat.

neutral comfort...Definitely listen to your body, like the other person said nod...however, like I said, I had a bout of nausea as well, but I just laid down on the couch and let it pass...which it did. Mine may not have been as bad as yours, though...

I've read that the body is designed to operate in hunger mode, but in this modern age we never allow our bodies to experience hunger anymore.

Fasting cleans you out, or so I've been told.

Not feeling well isn't good however, blood sugar may be hitting a low... have another glass or 2 and see if it levels out in 20 minutes... make sure you aren't to sparing on the maple... it provides a few nutrients as well as maintaining a glucose level.

Welp I thought once I got home the light headedness, nausea and headache would subside...I barely made it into my bedroom before I passed out. I got very very sick sad

This morning I had a yogurt and coffee and I feel a million times better. I guess this just isn't for me. Had I just been hungry I would have stuck to it but I felt like I was going to die last night and this morning wasn't much better until I actually ate.

Oh well. Guess it's just regular diet time now.

Muse I measured out everything exactly...the water, syrup and lemon juice. It just wasn't enough.

I'd love to do this but I can't afford to lose any weight. There's no guarantee I could gain it back out here, or it would at least take a long time. My appetite is already all messed up.

The Stanley Burroughs "Master Cleanser" Maple Syrup Diet:
Vermont Grade B Maple Syrup is also used in body cleansing detoxification recipes, such as the Stanley Burroughs "Master Cleanser" maple syrup diet, because it is pure maple syrup, free of any material other than pure, clean, clear liquid maple syrup in sanitary condition.

For whatever reason, the higher grade is actually B..
