Florida Roadkill by Tim Dorsey.



His central character in all his books is a historian who always forgets to take his meds so goes off on some very senseless adventures throughout Florida. He weaves the morally corrupt characters, each with their own shameful goals, together is a mesh that proves hilarious with every read.

Ultimately this shit isn't literature as it teaches us little about the human condition, but he does always throw in historical references that enlighten me to the insane and corrupt State I live in.
