Travelling.. I wanna know why some ppl who are (so lazzzzzy) reluctant to travel to such places, well dont.
For example: Alot of Prince fans have complained P doesnt play in such a such state.. but he plays ALL over America, right? he plays in UK once every 5 years and when that happens, ppl will fly, drive, train, bus, run, swim to go see him.. And another thing, Prince parties in London.. yeah ppl go.. but Manchester??? Its too far up north - but we got ppl all over the world turning UPPPPP!!! And also, when I worked in London, and we would go out on the town - Central London - only the ppl who WEREN'T from London would do this.. the others would only travel as far as the number 181 bus went, and if that was out their area, they wouldnt DARE get another bus, or TUBE/underground for that reason.. Do you think ppl who are better travelled see travelling from A to E as less of a hassle than those who are just used to travelling A to B, B to A and A to B.. I travelling!!!! What are your thoughts???? [Edited 8/31/07 15:52pm] if sexy was a colour it would be red

If I may, A good deal of the UK would fit inside California. The flights are pennies to get from country to country and a good deal of that inside an hour.... Here, it is an 8 hour drive from Northern California to Southern. Approximately 13 hours to drive across California at high speed....
The US is huge and best way to look at it is as if the states were individual countries... Thus Americans aren't less traveled per say but it is far more expensive and such to do so.

I am happiest when I travel. People wonder at the fact that I've travelled so much and my belief is, you just do it, don't think about it! Life is short and for me, it's the best of life. I also think it makes you a more interesting person. If you have the right character for it, you gain a wide perspective on the world and you open up, in a permanent, long lasting sense.

One of the things I enjoyed most about my travels was getting to places and going for long distances. It was great just to sit on the bus, read a book, meet new people, listen to music and of cause admire the views from outside. There's Joy In Expatriation.

I love traveling. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to do much of it in the last few years. The following countries, USA, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Denmark and France I did so only on family holidays when I was young. Since then I've only really been to NZ, since I don't really count Laos, Malaysia and Cambodia as those were for very brief visa or border runs (no longer than 4 days). I just wish I could see more of Thailand for a start, then do South East Asia properly.
Any ideas of traveling I may consider these days usually get usurped by returning to the UK to see my family. I think that should be my priority. I'd love to take Mon to France one day though and do the whole Eurocamp thing, if it's still going.

If you want some pain, try the coach journey from Bangkok to Siem Reap. A 150km 6 hour journey. I may have a video clip of it somewhere. There's Joy In Expatriation.

I don't really like travelling. I have to take the train and a bus to go visit my parents at Funen. It takes three hours and for me it's just a necessary thing that I do without any enjoyment. FREE THE 29 MAY 1993 COME CONFIGURATION!

Do you mean the ones with the colourful graphics down the side? They're moving to have those banned. Or do you just mean the general 'VIP' buses for long journeys? Bangkok to Siem Reap eh? So very slow going I take it. I always thought Bangkok to Surat Thani was good times. Better yet, Bangkok to the Malaysia border.
