It's now speculated he did this after a "vicious quarrel" with an unnamed friend. They must've been pretty darned tight, and that must've been one heck of a fight!

I can think of several friends I'd kill , but none who'd make me want to kill myself.

It does not go into detail about how the attempt was made.

And since they have absolutely everything they could possibly want, they can't imagine a scenario that would improve the way they feel.

Also I'm glad everyone here are actually wishing him well. When I heard this and went on IMDB people were making jokes saying he tried to kill himself because he saw his nose in the mirror or because he wasn't funny.
