Okay -

I had an operation on my stomach - I had an hysterectomy and they also took my ovaries out as they were turning cancerous. The wound was from my belly button as is about 7 inches long.

Well there I was getting better day by day and the Drs decide that I can go home. Hurrah says I... and immediately started to tidy up my stuff, packing my case etc and the last thing I did was take my dead flowers over to the bin. I bent over to put it in properly and I felt something wet against my nightdress, I looked down and there was a pool of blood all around me. I said "where's all this come from" and immediately saw that more blood was spurting against my nightdress. Someone pressed the emergency button and nurses come rushing in and gently coaxed me to the bed. They pulled the curtains around and lifted my nightie up and my wound had split open and was about 1/2 inch deep as well.

Needless to say I didn't go home for another four days. They had to pack the wound and take it out every day and repack it again. I didn't feel a thing as the wound was numb. It took about 1 month for the wound to heal properly.

It's ok now, every time I need blood tests I'm like "butterfly needle, in the hand" rolleyes to the nurse and they either go " giggle sounds like you've done this before" or confuse and want to try a regular needle in the arm anyway leaving me bruised and my veins going nana
