tired of feeling like my emotions are being played on. I don't understand why these job agencies/companies call you and leave a message, saying they are interested in talking to you about a job opportunity, then when you call and leave them messages, they don't even have the courtesy to call you back. I just had a job agency call me and leave me a message on my cell phone recently, saying that she saw my resume on careerbuilder.com, she was impressed with my experience, and would I please call her when I get a chance. Well, I have called this broad like 3 times and left her messages, and I've yet to hear back from her. Why do people do this? Don't they know how frustrating it is for the person looking for a job to not even get a return phone call? Idiots!!!!!

Thanks, I honestly don't understand WTF is wrong with these people.

Seriously: make sure you're signed with at least five agencies and call no less than one time a day to get updates. You will get a job within a week. They'll hate your guts and you'll likely get several offers at once and will be able to choose the one that pays the most.

Yeah, for a while, you feel extremely rude and it's uncomfortable. But after being unemployed for over a month, I got really worried and any other issues went out the window. I was just completely honest with them about it: "You'll keep hearing from me regularly until I'm placed somewhere". Good news, I just called this woman back about a half hour ago, and was actually able to reach her on the phone (for once). She apologized to me for not returning my calls. I made an appointment to meet with her at 10:00 on Monday morning.
