Taco Bell "Make a run for the border".In this day and age how do they get away with a statement like that?It's a racist statement that makes fun of people in mexico trying to get in the U.S.

I like the dog (chihuahua). I like the ad where he needs a bigger box to catch Godzilla. Love the accent.

I thought it was more about Americans making a run towards the boarder, to get Mexican food, myself...Why would a Mexican want to run to the American border for some shitty fast food?

I never thought of it that way when I heard it.
Taco Bell is Americanized Mexican food. If you live in SoCal you can get authentic Mexican food because there's a good Mexican food joint on every corner, sort of like liquor stores.  This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes. | |

no offense, but in this day of silly political correctness, this one takes the cake! I've NEVER considered the meaning of this slogan to be derogatory in any way. Taco Bell serves "mexican" food. So, for an American to get "Mexican" food, they'd have to "run for the border" whatevs anyway...I'll take a 7-layer and a Baja Cahlupa no meat plus beans please!
