It's probably not as intense as you're thinking as the overall scheme of my bathroom is fairly girly, all pink and black, etc. But I have postcard-sized prints of illustrations and photos from a bondage magazine from, I think, the 40s and 50s covering the walls and some leather collars and cuffs on display.

when i lived elsewhere, i once had to interview prospective roommates for my apartment. one of the people who answered my ad came over with a portfolio and showed me the passion of his life: he liked to render big pencil/charcoal portraits of, um, BARBRA STREISAND. he even had one where he drew himself into the picture, so it looked like they were posing together. that's some weird shit that could have been in MY house.

and he had a mullet and a moustache, PS.

There are two girls who live in a mobile home outside Houston. They have a second mobile home (a single-wide) and it was a shrine to Prince. They had EVERYTHING possible to have. I saw their house in the late '80's I guess - well before CD's, DVD's and computers were in the scene. There were more record albums and cassette tapes than you'd find in your local wrecka stow, and all of them were bootlegs.

I heard they sold everything and dedicated themselves to Michael Bolton. Of course, I have not had the courage to see what an entire mobile home dedicated to Michael Bolton might look like...

it was in 1986 and i was over at a fried's house and he was
playing me a tape of Prince's 1999 album and i just did not
get it -i though it was horrible, lol.

so then he said "ok come with me to my brother's room! he's
got prince's new album Parade and it's supercool"

so we went into his brother's room (his brother was 19 at
the time i think) and on his brother's bed lol -i'll never
forget this- is the LP cover of Prince's "Prince" album and
right next to it on the brown velvety bedspread is a big,
sloppy white puddle



we both stood looking at it and were like "ewwww roy has
spilled something nasty on the bed!"

my friend ran downstairs to tell his mom
