I'm really torn and stressed about pampered chef you guys.

There is this AWESOME AWESOME stoneware deep dish pie pan rite. And its Crabery colored, its so cute, it matches my shutters, and is just adorable.

Plus, I mean....I bake like 3 pies a week, hopefully someday I can even sell them.

BUT, Its THIRTY BUCKS. For a pie dish.

I dunno.

I really want it, but I get butterflies in my stomach thinking about paying that much for it.

What do ya think?

I don't buy a lot of Pampered Chef stuff, but the things I've gotten have been good quality. Have you looked in Target. A lot of times they'll have similar things.

My sister-in-law used to sell Southern Living at Home stuff and so I felt obligated to buy something. I picked out a platter that would match my nice dinnerware.

I didn't really look at the price. brick With tax that thing was $70!!!
Never again. I could find something I like just as well for half that price.

Yeah, it's a total rip off. Thankfully she doesn't sell it anymore.

I live on a military base and so many of the wives sell stuff. Pampered Chef, Creative Memories, and everything else under the sun.

I get so sick of being invited to parties. You know, the kind where you are expected to buy stuff.

I just don't go anymore. I'd be broke if I bought from everyone I get an invite from.

You bake 3 pies a week! Do you make the crust from stratch?

I say buy it! It's something you enjoy doing and you'll use it. You may want to check TJMaxx- they have great kitchen stuff and good prices. My brother and his girlfriend remodeled their kitchen last year and Drew and I got them some great Iron Clad stuff from TJ cheap!

30.00 bucks for a pie plate is cheap in Santa Barbara, so I can't relate.
If you love it, get it!! 30.00 bucks come and go in the wind. But you will have something in your hands you love, that alone is worth it.

Want a serious answer?

1. I've never used anything from pampered chef that was worth their price, most of it has been crap.
2. It is a baking dish, it goes in the oven. It does not have to be cute. It has to hold pies.
3. There is a crazy lady in my town that bakes tons of pies. She makes a killing around Thanksgiving. Pies are her cats.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

OK, on #2 there, everything that's cute makes some people happier. I could have regular measuring spoons, but when I use the little heart shaped ones it makes me smile. I'm willing to fork over the extra $1 or whatever for the heart-shaped ones so that I smile everytime I use them. Maybe you can't put a value on "cute" or style, but some of us can.

Nope.

It's a company that sells kitchen/party items like platters, bakeware, kitchen tools, etc.

A lot of women sell it as a side job. They'll have "parties" where they demonstrate how to use things or show you what the items look like and then they try and get you to buy stuff.

I hate them. It's just a very high pressure sales pitch. To call it a party is horse shit.

I don't even like cooking all that much. Plus their stuff is way over priced.

Well, some restaurant people heard about her cakes, they loved them. They wanted to sell her desserts at their restuarant. They invited her to bake the cakes in their kitchen, cuz they have large ovens.

My mom made several cakes for them, they never paid her.
So she reported them. In return they reported her for baking in a restaurant without a license mad
She got off though. Some mystery person paid her fine.

While she was in jail some lady that beat up her husband asked my mom what she was in for. My mom said, "Baking a cake" falloff

does it look like this:

I have one, and I love it!
You just roll the lemon on the counter or between your hands squishing it.
Then turn the sharp end of the piece into the end of the lemon and squeeze!
