When one of my students told me 'You look like you're 18, except for your hands. They show your age'

When these same students listen to 'Rhythm of the night' by Corona and start yelling: I was just born then. eek

When I press the spot between my spine and right-shoulder.

touched again

25, 26 this year biggrin I win a lot of money with it... Some months ago, I went to Holland with a friend to buy some weed just across the border. When we were ready to enter the coffeeshop, I told him 'If they ask me for my identity-card, you pay me two extra joints'. He took the challange yay!

Acting innocent get people all confused. Then they start thinking I'm not even 18.

falloff First time I've seen your devious side.

Everyone's got one. I look young as hell, and I act younger to piss off barmen sometimes just so I can prove them wrong with my ID. cool lol

Othertimes I walk in discussing work and that really throws them off, even though it's the truth. Makes me feel old though.

Although I have never heard any of Babyshambles or Oasis' songs, just by looking at Doherty and the Gallagher brothers, I find it hard to believe there is any redeeming rock value.

Am I right?

i think they're both fairly generic bands, and they don't have the talent for bringing their flair for media spectacle on stage with them. that's something that gripes my ass about newer acts these days. they try so hard to come off as "genuine" or "authentic" that they forget all the crazy, pretentious, ridiculous stuff that made rock so fun in the first place, and they're fucking boring. so you're on "page six" all the time - great - do something as noteworthy while you're actually DOING YOUR JOB. sheesh

heybaby

i've never felt old per se but i had a mini crisis when i turned 30 and felt like i'd wasted some good years and it was time to get crackin lol i stopped trick o treating in my mid 20s but i do every now and then when i take my sons. we watch the same cartoons and stuff (i stop short at some of the crappy music lol). i don't know, i'm still naive to a point, i still daydream dreams and believe in them and i lack alot of the cynicism that alot of my friends have accumulated despite some events in my life that could have made me just that. i would've never found myself capable of being responsible until i had kids of my own.

i don't feel like i'm so much out of touch with the younger generation than i feel like the younger generation is out of touch with ME. lol

there's so much in youth culture today that's boring and bland and insulting and marketed, and i know i enjoyed just as much junk culture when i was a young'un, but i also had alternatives - risky, wild, (truly) alternative, dangerous stuff that made my parents nervous. where's that stuff today? i wanna hear about some bigshot pop star that's making people my age lock their doors, dammit. is pete wentz supposed to scare me??? falloff

GET WITH IT, YA BORING WHIPPERSNAPPERS!!!! evillol

ummm, actually THIS site, on occasion makes me feel old....especially when some butt head mentions my telling "50 year old stories".
I would never suggest those younger than myself telling 20, 30 or 40 year old stories. WTF? Everyone has their own unique experiences regardless of years on the planet.
I'm constantly around those older (60-90), in poor health and young people also with terminal illnesses and cancer. I'm just thankful to be physically and mentally healthy and alive.
Having children in their late teens, early 20's keeps me up on styles, culture, and music.
If anything is aging, it's narrow mindedness, unwillingness to experience new things, and unrealistic personal fears that can and should be overcome..
