I'm walking down the street and have absolutely no connection with the teenagers I'm passing - their fashions, music, conversations and lingo. Everything. And what's more is that I'm totally comfortable with it and am quite happy to be past caring smile

Same here. Not sure when it started happening though.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

When I started drinking as a way to compliment a meal as opposed to drinking for the soul purpose of getting sloshed.

A year or so ago when I found I couldn't drink loads of beer on back to back evenings. Takes longer to recover than when I was 21.

i got id'd at the bar when i went out with meow85 last week (i'm 12 yrs her senior! lol )
and my nephew insists that since i'm not a mom i must still be a teenager

although neither of those things have anything to do with feeling or looking young falloff
i think in the last couple years when my skin has started to loose it's bounce
and i contemplate whether i will ever realistically have a child...
or considering that i'm closer to my twenty year reunion than i am to my ten year lol

but grey hairs... talk to the hand first one was at about 23 or so.

Oh yeah, and I've just been informed of my 10 year school reunion (we leave at 16 here). Obviously I'm giving it a miss since I've got another Prince concert booked that day. No WAY I'm giving up Prince to see a bunch of people I would have kept in contact with if I actually cared about them.

This year (33). But I think I said that last year. Philosophically, each year we get older we notice another new “old-indicator”, a back twinge, a grey hair, a grey pube confused and think that’s it, NOW I am old. I hope this continues. So when I am 60, i can say, now I am old, but last year I wasn't. It depends on from what perspective you look at it.

For me perhaps a better question would be when did you last feel young? To this, i would reply (finally) 25/26 sad
Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

I have days but they come and go...lately I have felt it because I am a little stressed at home and at work.
I find that when we are super busy at work and I do not have to time to eat let alone pee that I get cranky and I never did that when I was young....

Since I broke my leg last year I still get pain in that spot that broke- when that flares up I feel old but it could be much worse...

I am always told I do not look 36 - so that is good!
