I don't have any of my exact street. These are all within blocks/walking distance of my house.

more exciting than where I live! lol it's all relative

my project today was to photograph my street and surrounds and make them as unattractive as possible, to show how I feel about it. I even waited until a dreary overcast day. Another day I will photograph it to make it look really nice, when the trees get their leaves back and the sky is blue.

Cool Charlotte! I wish I was good at taking pictures like that. You really have a good eye. Was this a project you decided to do on your own or was it given to you by work/school?

It is my own thing. When I went to Sweden I took loads of photos, everything was fresh and new and romanticised (it is the place of my birth and will always have such special memories) and I was pretty much in love with everything I saw.

the conversation here inspired me - "home-blindness"

But the challenge will be to see my neighbourhood as attractive, since I really don't!!!! lol

back in the 80s when I was at university I took photography for 2 years, but I really didn't do much more than snapshots until I got my digital SLR a year ago. I am a graphic designer too, so it is a complimentary art, eh Byron!

Hmm...I've never sold an individual photo before. All the ones I sell are as note cards lol...I did, however, once sell an illustration that someone used on the front and inside a greeting card, and they paid me $450 for it. I dunno...I'd say at least $100-$200...

Not sure if that helps...sorry... neutral
