If you see a nice dress that you can't quite afford...sprinkle some birdseed on it and wait a day or two.

so lately i've been creeped the f!ck out by at least 1 dead bird
every 2 days for over two weeks now

headlp eek headlp

it started with a dead bird outside my backdoor, no wounds, no
broken neck, just dead, as if by old age, lol.

then i drove over a huge raven, a real freaky accident where i
almost got into a crash for breaking hard to avoid him. there
was a whole lot more to it but it was no average accident. the
whole thing freaked me out incredibly and i don't usually get
freaked out that soon.

then a dead bird next to my car in the morning, right next to
the driver's seat door.there was a mark on the door where it
had crashed into the metal of a dark blue car, standing still
wtf?

friday i get on a ladder to trim my honeysuckle tree in the
back of my garden and notice a little nest. in it are three
dead birds.

this weekend a bird just crashed itself incredibly hard into 1
of my windows. dead. i've lived here for 9 months and that has
never happened before. in fact, i was even standing right in
front of the window talking to a friend who had come over to
show me her new baby

i'm having a drink in my friend's garden, a bird swooshes over
my head, flies into a small window, covered with shades inside,
and falls dead on the pavement.

this morning at work, i opened the door to the garden during my
coffee break and as i step out onto the terrace, there's a dead
bird next to my foot.

somebody headlp

i think something or someone is trying to tell me something
really desperately. this is seriously starting to worry me.

i haven't hit anything larger than a gopher for ages
but a few weeks ago (right after muirdo's i hit a squirrel thread!)
i was driving to the farm and within the space of a few miles
i had three close contacts with animals!

first there was a dark spot on the road but it looked like
either a spot of oil or a pothole in the road
but then - thunk - and as i was wondering what the heck i had hit
as much as 45 seconds later i could smell skunk. so either
it was dead already or it was hurt and i finished him off.

then there were bunnies all over the place! thankfully i
wasn't in any danger of hitting them but it was weird. at least five rabbit

meanwhile i'm still freaked that i hit a skunk. i'm thinking
ok this is how people run over other people on the road
and assume it was a dog because it happens so fast and you
have no clue what it was. all of a sudden there is a cat
on the road and it decides to run across my path! i swerve
a little to try to avoid it. didn't hear anything, didn't feel
anything so i don't think i hit it but man i bet he lost whiskers i was so close!

if that wasn't enough only a mile or so down the road a bird flies
into the side of the vehicle as i'm driving. he flew into me!
not the front of the vehicle... but the side of the vehicle!

i'm feeling like a real killing machine by the time i get home
but my father points out that it had been insufferably hot
and all the creatures were hungry and in search of water and food
in the early evening and were disoriented.

perhaps the weather has been affecting your birds too? i know sometimes
when the sun is just right you get more bird-into-window crashes
than normal. nothing is more disconcerting that hearing that thump
and seeing the imprint of the wingspan on the glass sad bottom line
is i think you are going to be just fine. put the hawk decals on your
windows if you want to keep the birdies safer.

i know this was a longwinded post but shrug
doveShe couldn't stop crying 'cause she knew he was gone to stay dove
