Chemical castration? Saw an ad asking for this

I think it's when someone is given some type of pill or medicine (if you can call it that) to either shrink the testicles or get rid of the testosterone so they won't want sex. Some people think child molesters should be forced to do this.

Now I have to go look it up, cause I'm curious...

OK, it's when they give someone female hormone injections to lower the testosterone levels. It's temporary. They also use it when a male wants to become a woman.

It's common with dogs (at least here in Sweden), if you have an overly sexual male dog and you want to try to see if castration will fix the problems. Then you try the chemicals at first and if that's a success you go for the permanent operation.

So if it's common for dogs, it should be equally common for dawgs.
