Yeah, the age thing kinda bugs me too. Because of my boy-like features many think I don't look a day over 17.

Also, there's the obvious fact that because I'm so well-spoken and articulate, dress nice, and have a broad taste in music (especially Rock music), my Blackness gets questioned. This is especially for those that haven't met me.

Hell, even people here on the org were shocked to see that I was Black. What, New Wavers can't be Black now?

And I'm going to co-sign all of Calhoun's post. It depends on who we're talking about but some people are very surprised that I'm not as serious as I sometimes appear. I am a complete ass most of the time. But I don't 'project' that. I save that for those who know me.
