What's the point??

In spending hundreds of dollars on a single item of clothing? Honestly, What is the point?!

Why would you spend 220 dollars on a shirt you can get in the same style almost identical for just the 20? Seriously, I just don't understand?!

I cannot comprehend why people are so struck on spending so much on one thing they could get cheaper somewhere else?

Idn how this thread will turn out.
Just my opinions and I hope to hear from people who
A) Agree with me
&
B) Disagree with me biggrin

Usually it is quality. However i do agree with you.
I know for a fact that many $250 mens shirts cost aroun $10 to make and ship however that makes me wonder what it costs to make a cheapie.
I guess i am lucky i have a good tailor who looks after me and i dont pay retail for quality woot!

I agree with you, but when it comes to clothing, it really depends on what it is. If it is a t shirt, I will not pay more than $30. For things that I will use for years and years, like a coat or a pair of boots, I am willing to pay more money because the quality is usually better.

yeah i understand that but example..

I'm going school shopping tomorrow with my closest guy friend.
He insists we go to Nordstrom because that's where he gets all his clothes at. I've never been there so i did some research on it only to find out that if I want a certain 3/4 length sweater, I'll have to fork out atleast 100 bucks! Or if I want this
I have to pay 220! When i KNOW I could find an extremely similar dress to that for no more than 50. rolleyes

Some things just aren't worth it to ME, but I can understand some of it. I'm guilty of buying jeans @ over $100 which I NEVER EVER thought my cheap ass would do, but the fit just works on me (long length, cuter designs, etc) & I wear jeans almost every day of the week so I justify the bullshit boxed

But you won't catch me spending $ on shirts & simple shit, I get simple fitted tee's @ frickin' Target lol But a good shoe, well made outerwear - I go a little higher but not unreasonably @ times. shrug
heart prince I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it prince heart

Well don't be afraid of Nordstrom. Yes, they have some overpriced shit BUT they also have more moderately priced stuff & GREAT sale racks nod Hit those & you'll find some decent deals imo, don't be skurred lol

& I wouldn't pay more than $40 for that dress, though $60 is a fair price. It's just not cute enough to buy unless it was a steal shrug

Wow. Do you like Uniforms?
We have discussed the idea of uniforms at our school but I don't think I would like that at all.

Yes, I like it. I don't have to spend time wondering what I'm going to wear, and it's not so ugly either. It's a sky blue shirt, black pants and black shoes cool

I wanna get poon from incredibly vain and materialistic women. Sometimes that means $100 shirts cause it is illegal to whip your dong out in public.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

Rhondab

my mom was a seamstress and she said that you pay for the quality of material so NEVER pay a bunch of money for cotton cuz it probably just cost 2.00 per yard or something.

Me either, I'd rather spend my money on cd's and stuff like that. I only buy clothes when I really have to.
