My wife calls me "midnight" all the time, because that seems to be the time when I make a play for her...usually i'm sleeping by 12:30 (Don't judge me!)

wake at 6:15, so ..5.5 to 6 hours during the work week...
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

At times I feel I only need 5 or 6 and usually wake with more energy when I get less sleep, at times or at least once in awhile.

Back in the day, when I was living a more stressful life, I slept less, but it was not the most healthy moment for me.

Now, I crash out on the floor and love my sleep. I would say I get 8-9 hours now and I believe it is my system saying, "you need it".

My life has less stress these days, living healthy... and sleeping very well.

So I say... thumbs up! to more sleep these days.

Ps~Even though I crash out after I get home some days, I do wake up fairly early, which I like. It feels like a full, productive day.

Depends on which phase I'm in...right now, 15 hours a day neutral Then it'll tilt the other way and I'm unable to sleep for a few days, even if I'm so tired I wanna die or if I take sleeping pills. neutral

I get between 3-5 a night. Last night I got to sleep for 45 whole minutes minutes. confused

If I had the chance I would sleep for 8 hours plus but since I have such a hard time falling asleep every single night and then I HAVE to get up so early every single day...I can't see that happening anytime soon.

I have a problem falling asleep...it's been that way since high school and now I am just used to it. I guess it's constant insomnia.

For me it depends on the situation

When I lived in /visit Japan, I can go on 3 hours
In the states I need 7 hours, and 2 cups of coffee to make it thru the day

I think I need 10-12 hours sometimes boxed
Now that I sleep about @ 5.00 or 4.00 in the morning and I wake up late I get about 8 hours of sleep
When I have school and stuff well I guess I will get 8 hours of sleeping again...

I would suggest Ambien b/c you're asleep within 30 minutes BUT with a kid you may not wanna be in that deep of a sleep comfort I can't get my hands on Ambien anymore, but a half glass of wine helps lol

A strict 9.5 hours sleep every night for me . I went through periods where
I'd sleep for 11 hours one day then the next day I'd have trouble getting to sleep , and over a week or so my sleeping pattern would be really disrupted , to the extent that I'd only be able to sleep for 6 hours then have to get up
early , and be really tired 4 or 5 hours later . If I tried taking a catnap
for half hour to get myself normal I'd often end up sleeping for 2 hours , then when it came my regular time to go to bed later on I couldnt sleep for hours and hours , just weird . Now when I go to bed I set my alarm for 9.5 hours
later and get up then , and I no longer feel tired during the day . No oversleeping , just a regular bedtime and amount of sleep is the only thing that works for me in the long term nowadays .
