mmm, Homecoming! So schools starting soon, (I start Monday) and that means Homecoming is just around the corner!
How was your homecomings from school? Ladies - Do you remember your favorite dress? Fellas - Do you remember how many homecomings you got laid afterwards?

I never went to any of the Homecoming Dances at my school.

I don't know where my Junior prom photos are, but I do have my senior Prom photos. I'll have to get them out. I actually still have both of my dresses in my closet  | |

The only time I participated in any kind of homecoming activity was my senior year. My snobby theatre friends and I who hated all thing football and cheerleader and the like decided to do a homecoming float to say eff you to everyone. We decorated a trailer all in black, with black crepe paper and black balloons and we all wore all black and we threw gross peanut butter candy in black wrappers and little black rubber rats off the float at people and my friend's car that was pulling it had two Depeche Mode songs playing over and over and over Black Celebration and She's Dressed in Black Again.
When we got halfway around the football field we saw a cheerleader's pom poms on the ground sitting unguarded so my friend Erin and I jumped off the float and stole them and brought them back and hid them in our float and left immediately after the stupid parade so some poor cheerleader had to go through the big game without them. Yes, that was awfully mean of us. But we'd honestly taken years of abuse at that point. So whatever. God, we were such geeks. |
