The 80/20 Principle for better living.

The 80/20 principle is a school of thought that says twenty percent of your efforts generates eighty percent of your return.

Another 80/20 principle says you only really need twenty percent of the stuff you got. Example: You wear 20% of your close most of the time.

Do you agree?

Sounds good, but I don't buy 20% effort aspect because I see people less than half ass it all day in my line of work and they don't come near 80% return....its more a case of those operating under this idea cause others in their midst to exert the opposite formula.....

now the clothes thing, I definitely see the principle working there....nod

I lived off one suitcase of clothes for a month, and it was enough, when I got home I gave away nearly all the rest of my clothes, and I don't miss them.

I cleared out my closet before I deployed....got rid of a mess of stuff and I'm sure that when I get home, I'm gonna do some more house cleaning...
