Dead Elvis Day. 'Tis a sad day.
No man will ever look that damn good again. That was it, that was perfection. This one's for you.

My ex husband has looked like Elvis since he was in high school. Unfortunately for him, he evolved in much the same way.

Well, I wouldn't do nasty nasty things to your ex. Elvis, however... I'd dig that stuff up and shag myself with his femur remnants. This one's for you.

Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

Check this out:
Elvis used to play Houston clubs back in the '50's, before he hit it big. One day, he met my Mom. At the time, my Mom and Dad were just starting out dating. Elvis thought my Mom was beautiful and asked her out. She said thanks but no thanks. He even sent her a Christmas card but she threw it away. But what if? What if they had dated? Gotten married? Had kids? I would not be RodeoSchro. I would be Lisa Marie Presley. Which means I would have slept with Michael Jackson. Sometimes, I wake up screaming in the middle of the night. Now I know why.

Don't count on me coming there ... I'd rather be @ home imitating him

I've loved Elvis since I was a real little girl - okay so i'm only 18 now, but hey! The man was amazing, and I only wish I was alive to see him in concert. I've been watching his movies all day and have a huge memorabilia collection.

Oh I LOVED ELVIS!!! And yes, no man will EVER look that good again. So just give it up guys
Elvis was my biggest(no pun intended) childhood crush. I just KNEW that I was gonna grow up to marry him. It was a hot, sad day 30 years ago when my mom told me of his passing. I was standing on the back porch of my grandmother's house and my best friend Cheryl was with me. When my mom first told me I thought she was joking. She has a certain way about her that makes her seem like she's "teasing" all the time. I just couldn't believe her. She turned on the radio and I listened with a dawning horror. My entire world and "future" had crumbled. Cheryl and I just held each other and sobbed for what seemed like hours!! I wrote a blog about ODD childhood crushes on my myspace page. Check it out if you'd like: http://blog.myspace.com/i...=299887286 Sorry...not trying to jack the thread or anything. just thought that my blog was appropriate for the day. I AM BEATLOAF

All day I saw Elvis footage on tv. What really got my attention though was Pricilla Presley's lips! Dear god, they look painful.

My mother adored Elvis.
Though I was quite young, I clearly recall the day he died because that particular afternoon I'd come in from playing outside to get a glass of lemonade and, when I walked into the kitchen, I found my mother sitting alone at the table, listening to the kitchen radio with tears in her eyes. Of course, I was alarmed at seeing my mother crying and so I asked her what was the matter, and she simply looked at me and said "Elvis died today. I really liked his music." That was the first moment I really became aware of Elvis Presley.

Get the fuck over it. I've called it Dead Elvis Day my entire life, at which point I usually sit with a bottle of wine and drink and watch Elvis movies. I could give a fuck what you call August 31st. You people get too bloody sensitive. Always looking for some reason to bitch or be offended around here. [Edited 8/23/07 7:17am] This one's for you.
