As this site was my first online experience, I made my first mistakes here too. Back in the early 'new' site days, I crushed on an old skooler cuz of his wittiness, always a good thing. Until I found out he was severely pulling my leg; the pic he sent me was not his. That thaught me a few things.

I still have crushes, though, but besides one other instance (for whom I would have gotten on a plane, serious), that never went further than flirting, though. I mean, I met some great guys here, dated a few and crafted a few great friendships out of those.

These days I allow myself to crush, but I never expect anything else coming from that besides making new mates to have a beer with.

This is a tricky subject for me.

I'm like so uber charming and stuff, that I really have to push back when I folks develop crushes on me. It's like a stampede sometimes, and I can't dig my spurs in deep enough. I'm charm is writing checks my balls can't cash so-to-speak.
