Memories of the Old Org

I'm not one to reminisce, especially when that can leave new people out etc.

But one very fond memory I have of the old Org (black and purple) was when Bootsinox first started posting. Does anyone remember that?

I think seeing Bootsi back here has made me think of it.

Anyway, Bootsi started posting and right away klhk jumped on him and told him to change his username because it was in all caps and hurting her eyes. lol And he agreed. And they went back and forth for a whole thread about it: klhk testing the newbie and Bootsi being his typically nice self.

By the end of that thread (not days or weeks or months), Bootsi and klhk became "friends." It was hysterical to witness and great to see how it turned out!

Anyone else have any memories of the old Org?

Hell, I'm even feeling nostalgic for the WB/Aerogram Fact or Opinion threads! wink

pretty cool. I wasn't even lurking then; I was going back to school.

My initial memories were of a one man army of Bart insisting that the Crystal Ball would add arsenic to the water supply; something like that.

Memories of memories.

July seemed relatively verbose back in '03...

I started visiting the Org in 2000,these are some of my memories of the old days:

***Bart and Wellbeyond having those long,heated debates

***the vicious,trash-talking Kellyanne McClure who remembers her?

***the various Prince imposters ("purple_pie"...."Holdon2urwigz"..."The_Rainbow_Child",etc)

***the fake tracklists for albums that never materialized ('A Doll's House')

***Seal99 and her (his?) obsession with 8-track tapes

***that wild,crazy girl in Texas (damn,I can't remember her name!) who was talking talking about George Michael....what was her name?? Always talking about Prince's ass,lol.
