Popups Is the a program that really works to stop the popups(one that you have used not word of mouth) when i open certain pages on the internet.It's annoying cause sometimes i can close one and then another pops up in it's place.One time i had to close down my computer to escape them.Someone please help  | |

It will mess up some other things, but you can stop it by turning Java off... What things will it mess up?I'm gonna try it but just in case something isn't working i'll know why. | |

Mozilla allows you to stop most pop ups , I believe Opera does too.

I blame carpotunnel syndrome on those God-awful pop-ups. 
U have 2 click out of those things at least 20 times a day, in my experience. It's fucking annoying, and most of it comes with the spyware in kaZaA. I do have Lavasoft Ad-Aware but it isnt enough. | |

Not at all but looking at it I know what you mean. Its a pic a friend took about 5 years ago, the original is very washed out and grey, so I messed with it a little. As you look at the pic the right side of the face is Prince the left side is me

I use Pop-Up Ad Killer by Meaya
http://www.meaya.com I'm not going to explain how to do it, because thats illegal, lol. But I've heard of people downloading a 'crack' for this program to break the time limit on it. Its a little bit more intelligent in blocking pop ups. If you click a link/button on a page that it supposed to open a new window, it will allow it to pop up, but it blocks all the pop ups that you dont want. | |
