I have two heroes. The first is my olest sister who is always in my corner. She is also he most loving forgiving person on the planet. She practically raised me and she is the only mother I have ever truly known.

The second is my friend James. James is HIV+ and is not well most days but yet has something beautiful to say to me everytime I talk to him. He is the most positive person I know. He makes me put my life in perspective and not sweat the small stuff so much. He is also Buddhist and he makes me feel so calm and happy when he honors me with a phone call.

I don't really have a "hero", but I highly respect my father. He's such a good man. Not only did he work two jobs while we were growing up, so we could all have nice things, but when he was home he was always cooking, gardening and driving us all around everywhere. He's 75 now and takes care of my mom who's disabled. He is her nurse, cook, cleaner and he also raises my 16 year old nephew too. I don't know where he gets all his energy and he never seems to be in a bad mood.

I don't have "heroes" (don't like the connotations of that word - implies putting someone on a pedestal and suspending objectivity about what they do). I do have people with qualities I admire. Warhol would definitely be one. Some others:
