Yesterday was one of the most depressing days of my life, in a while?

Played the guitar and had one of those bitchfits, afterward because of how everything was going. Then, later in the day, we (My mother, myself, my aunt, and my little cousin) go to some modeling program ("ModelAgencyNYC" r some shit like that) to try out for....well, modeling. My cousin gets accepted and I don't. The officials who were holding this event as well as doing the judging didn't ask me but one question before I went back to my seat without a blue card (The item of initiation, so to speak). That question was, "When are your braces coming off?" I answered, "Sometime in Novemeber."

Then, the lady says, "Okay, well, come back next year.," before I walk back to my seat without a blue card. The problem with this is that I was rejected by another modeling agency named "ProScout" for the same exact reason. My cousin walked back to her seat "WITH" a blue card, signaling that she was going further. I left out of the room with my mother afterwards, so my cousin and her mother could get reviewed before we left the building.

I'm happy for my cousin, though. It's not even so much that I was rejected by the modeling agency than the fact that the whole day, yesterday just sucked. I am kind of monotonous about life at this point, I think. Everytime I go play with my instruments, I leave them in a large rut. So, what I would like to be a rememdy for other problems, happens to be the biggest problem. I think I'm going to have to revert back to just strictly writing. Hey, at least I won't bitch about how it hurts to play something decent at a different, faster paste and "NONE" of my fingers could move swiftly, carefully, smoothly and (Most importantly) comfortably. Yeah, writing (Unfortunately) is the only way to go, for me to go, for a while. Most likely, forever. Anyway, enough about me. Let's talk about you.

I'm sure you could easily get into modelling, judging from your profile pic, if thats what you want to do just keep trying. Try and be abit positive they did say you should come back next year smile
JaneyPoos used to be it... then they changed what it was. Now what I am isn't it and what is it is strange and frightening to me...

Why thank you very much, ma'am! You are a very pretty-looking lady from your profile picture. wink

The modeling industry is brutal, and an ability to remain unaffected by rejection is essential both to your mental health and to being able to sustain a career in the business. Yesterday's outcome was a disappointment, but other opportunities will come your way. Look ahead.

Regarding your guitar playing and your writing -- you are young (and I don't mean that condescendingly); you'll will find your creative niche. Try many things, but don't give up too quickly on something when inevitable ennui sets in, or when you stumble a bit, as doing that can become a terrible habit that, in the end, will only leave you frustrated because you'll not have a point of focus for your creativity. Discover new ways to utilize and express yourself through your craft, and to again make it fresh and exciting and interesting. In my experience, finding a new perspective does wonders, and often is like opening a floodgate of new ideas and renewed passion.

You can do anything. Best wishes. rose

I'm confused.

Is this a trick question??
I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure
I layed down with love and I woke up with lies
Whats it all worth only the heart can measure
It's not whats in the mirror but what's left inside

Yeah. I wasn't planning on staying with it, anyway. I have got other things in mind. You know, like music and/or writing. This was going to be a temporary thing that I was going to do for a little exposure, here and there. It would have been nice. I already know that it's overrated. I don't fit that type of snobby, snotty lifestyle filled with condescending morals and shit like that.
