Knights of Templar, Free Masons...JW's...New World Order?

What do the Knights of Templar, Free Mason's and JW's have, if anything, in common? And does it have anything to do with the New World Order?

(I know, I know...another conspiracy theory on the org...rolleyes)

The knights of templar havent nothing in common with J. Witnesses also becuz they used the Baphomet a symbol that the witnesses consider sacrilege. The knights behaved with honor, another quality that the JW dont no sad

I respect all religions (muslims 2) but not the JW

Lilith,

The reason I asked this question was because of the use of a Knights of Templar symbol of the "Cross and Crown" which is used on a pyramid monument in honor of one Charles Taze Russell.

And the aforementioned Charles Taze Russell was a Free Mason, according to some people. (I of course do not know this for a fact.)

There are books written by David Icke you can look into for the answer to your question. You could also plug his name into a search engine to find more information. This is his point of view, I'm only the messenger.

Okay, you got me...

I don't actively support these groups, but I do support their right to think what they will as long as they don't impose upon the rights of others, be it by dogmatic pontification or pseudo-moral indignance.

We have nothing in common with the Knights of Templar or Free Masons. It's just funny how you put us in the same catergory for topic of discussion...

As far as New World Order goes, that is more of a Government thing than anything else. There are some interesting sights on the web about it BUT Jehovah's Witnesses believe in a higher source for mankind's salvation and as far as anyone not respecting us for one reason or another because of our putting our faith in God rather than men, that is their perogative.

Sistergirl,

There was, and is, no disrespect intended to individuals who happen to be Jehova's Witnesses. My inquiry was more in the spirit of the founder of your system of beliefs and your practices. (Note: I did not use the term "religion") He was supposedly a Free Mason, a group which has a lineage with the Knights of Templar. My interest was also piqued because of the monument erected in honor of Charles Taze Russell, which has a Knights of Templar symbol at the peak of the pyramid shaped monument. (Crown and Cross symbol...speaking of cross...if Jesus were crucified on a starous and not a cross...why a cross on a monument? I am merely curious and seeking knowledge.)

I agree that the New World Order is a "government" thing as U stated...but which government?

I hope U took no personal offense, because none was intended, and I sincerely mean that...I too, place myself in the hands of a higher power other than humans. Peace! Love is God, God is Love

Charles Taze Russell's original version of the JW faith varies quite a bit from the modern incarnation. The beliefs cncerning crosses vs Stauros, not celebrating holidays, etc. came about later. Russell was, indeed, a Freemason, but that has little bearing on the JW religion of today.

Lilith,

That is the "official" reason that the Knights were destroyed. Those were the so called "confessions" under torture of the Knights. What would U confess to under torture? The list, aside from the Baphomet, were stomping and spitting on the cross, as well as homosexuality and sodomy. The real reason they were destroyed probably has more to do with King Phillip IV of France feeling threatened by their power and immunity to the law. With his urging, Pope Clement turned his back on the Knights after years of the Knights only having to answer to papal authority.

Now as we hit the New World Order theme...some of the Knights did escape burning at the stake and founded the Masonic societies. If the Knights are credited with starting the banking industry (loaning money to monarchs)...question is...how long does that lineage run? Or, has the lineage ever run out? Again...questions...are there answers?

As for the differences between the Jehova Witnesses today and "yesterday"...why is there a difference? Why did it change? Who changed it? Who decreed such change? What is the truth? (The same can be said for many other spiritual orientations...so I do not mean to single out the faith of the Jehova Witnesses)
