I hear ya on the ridiculously hot part. It was 110 degrees here yesterday. You can't even walk outside to get in your car without sweating through your clothes.

It has been gorgeous here in New York. It's 80 degrees and sunny. Tomorrow it's supposed to be about 85 and I'll be at the beach

Ugh . . . I hate the rain. I like hot, sunny days and freezing, snowy days (mostly because I like wearing sweaters and I love boots lurking). If you end up moving up north you'll get to experience some north-east blizzards

David's family is all from upstate New York and I went there one year in early September and it was freezing already! I was amazed at how cold it was! I don't love rain either, but sometimes it's a nice excuse to slow down, stay in, and relax. We never get snow here. I haven't seen it in 4 years or more. I'm with ya on the boots. I have many pairs. wink

The last time we had a lot of snow over here, it was the day before Spring Break started. I knew it was going to snow, so I skipped my class, but I had to wait for my friend because she needed a ride home. By the time she got out of class, about 2 feet of snow had already fallen. They had closed the dorms, so we had no choice but to go home. Our 1 hour trip south ended up being a 5 hour trip. It was the scariest day of my life. My car was sliding all over the place on the stupid thruway. eek

I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure
I layed down with love and I woke up with lies
Whats it all worth only the heart can measure
It's not whats in the mirror but what's left inside
