Tanned, swam, hiked a bit and picked pretty looking rocks with my son. All was going well until one of these tried to eat my poor little dog.

I finally got around to painting my office. No windows in there, so I painted it white. I bought a few other things for other household projects, but I didn't feel like doing them last night so I'll work on them over the week instead. I had to empty out the little swimming pool and scrub the bottom of it, then refill it again which really sucked. I also watched the Vikings pre-season football game, and of course played some LOTRO on the computer. | |

(08/12/07) GREENBURGH - Police are investigating the shooting death of a man who was found lying in the driveway of a Greenburgh house Sunday. Authorities say they responded to a call about gunshots fired around 1:20 a.m. on Manhattan Avenue near Beach Street. When police arrived, they found 31-year-old Kenyatta Parks, of Elmsford, with a gunshot wound to his head. Greenburgh police surrounded the crime scene with yellow tape as stunned neighbors woke to learn the news. Investigators are awaiting the results of an autopsy and say they do not have a suspect or motive in the crime. They are asking anyone with information about the case to call 914-682-5325. The homicide is the town's first since July 2006.
