Tanned, swam, hiked a bit and picked pretty looking rocks with my son. All was going well until one of these tried to eat my poor little dog.

It was freaky. Suddenly this giant bird came swooping down outta nowhere. Then he wouldn't leave just kept soaring around and around where my dog was running. So we had to pack up and leave. It was a beautiful bird, though. I had never seen one in the wild before. [Edited 8/12/07 19:52pm] | |

 my weekend was awkward.
First, my boyfriend comes over on Thursday. I'm not even in the mood to go out, but eventually we end up walking to Border's and then having dinner at Applebee's. There, he gets wasted. Not bad wasted, but...he had the giggles. Keep this in mind--he's 6 feet, 2 inches, has an afro, has a deep voice with a slight German accent....and he sorta scowls sometimes. Imagine this--he has a soft laugh like Winnie the Pooh!! The silly thing had a top shelf long island ice tea, and then a strawberry mango rum drink smoothie thing. It was way fun sittin' on the bus with him and trying to keep him quiet. What WASN'T fun was him getting sick. He didn't throw up but his tummy gurgled, he broke wind, and uh...made my bathroom funkeh.
On Friday, he came back over and we hung out for a bit; until he dozed off. That ticked me off a bit 'cause I had been dying to see him all day. I kinda expected him to be awake. I let him sleep. He woke up and apologized, and then we watched the Simpsons Movie on his PSP (shhhhh o_o) and then he went home. | |
